Corbin is a giant Great Dane dog who became very popular as he became the best adoptive father ever. Although he is a massive 150-pound dog and his appearance may confuse people, this guy is happiest when surrounded by kittens and puppies.
As mentioned above, due to his tall stature, Corbin has a scary and menacing appearance to some people who know him. But the reality is that Karen, his adoptive mother, assures us that this dog would not hurt a fly and that he is quite a sweetheart.
Corbin even helps raise the kittens that Karen has been saving and raising for several years.
A Great Dane becomes an adoptive parent
Just knowing that the kittens she helps care for barely weigh half a pound, nearly 300 times less than Corbin, is nothing short of amazing. So there is no doubt that he is a very careful and affectionate dog, which shows that he is happiest when surrounded by his fluffy friends.
Karen and her family adopted Corbin when he was 8 months old and 110 pounds, now after almost 6 years he is a lovely dog. But Karen says that at first she was afraid Corbin would hurt a kitten, as he is very clumsy for his size. Because of this, the family wouldn’t allow him near the kittens, they knew he wouldn’t hurt them on purpose, but an accident could happen.
Also, their large size was something her family had to be aware of when around the rescued kittens.
Karen told Bored Panda:
“He was very shy, nervous and afraid of a lot of people. But he always liked other dogs and cats.”
One day, Corbin was lying next to Karen, as if asking for a favor to see the kittens, so she brought him one. Corbin gently nudged the kitten with his nose, surprising Karen with his kindness and kindness to the little creature.
After that day, the family decided that Corbin would be a good helper, and he became the official adoptive father of the household. Corbin loves all kittens and is happy to be with them, he is definitely the father he needed to progress.
