Animals are life companions but there are some who don’t seem to understand it that way, because they treat them like objects without feelings by hurting them, ignoring them or even abandoning them. Although it sounds very cruel, these are everyday cases for animal rescuers.
Although some do it more cruelly than others, animal abandonment should never be tolerated as it endangers the lives of furry animals. In addition, there are several other ways to abandon an animal that can no longer be cared for.
Recently, the Forsyth County Animal Shelter in the city of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA had to witness an unfortunate situation after someone left two puppies outside their offices. that they left in a cage with a note.

However, the shelter puts itself in the person’s shoes and tries to understand what they have been through. In the text they gave details of the dogs, a puppy and an adult, they also asked that they take good care of them.

“To the person who left two dogs outside our establishment this morning: first of all, thank you for leaving them in a place where we would be sure to see them immediately, thank you for having secured them in the kennels, and thank you for the note. We’re sure it must have been a difficult and heartbreaking decision to leave such adorable dogs behind,” the organization wrote on its Facebook account.
“We’re also sure you must be struggling right now to make the decision that this was your only option. We’d like a lot more information, so please give us a call so we can talk to you about it. more. No judgment and no criticism, I promise,” it added.

However, the letter did not give details of why they were being abandoned. “Simba, August 2022, very friendly. Australian Shepherd mix. Nala, a German Shepherd mix, has worms. It is not known when he was born, he is about 12 weeks old. Take good care of them, thank you,” the note read.
We do not know more about these dogs, but they are now well placed.
