This man is ambushed by kittens as he stops to save one on the way after work.
As Robert Brantley was driving to a shooting range in Louisiana, USA, after a day’s work, he noticed something strange on the way. Apparently, it was a little black and white kitten, and the kind-hearted man couldn’t just walk past and avoid it, so he parked his car and went to check the place, and the little cat very excited immediately got up and approached the man.
After checking in and getting the baby kitten to safety, Robert got the biggest surprise of his life. Seemingly hidden out of the brush, other kittens were ready to step in, of course after observing the man’s generosity and intentions to help them.
It was without a doubt the cutest ambush of all. What was initially the rescue of one feline suddenly became the rescue of 13.
This man is attacked by a group of kittens
Robert was shocked and very surprised, although that didn’t stop his intention to help them from continuing untouched, so without much thought, he decided to help them all. Within seconds, her car was filled with a large group of very grateful kittens.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Robert can be heard saying:
Oh no, there are a lot… Oh my God! I can’t take them all. Oh my God. Oh my God, there’s more! We have a kitten problem.
Another of the videos Robert posted showed some of the kittens already confidently exploring the back of his car, while others checked out items inside.
Robert and his family have been busy, now the new cat dad is alternating his time with his new felines and documenting his experience on his social media, where he has a huge following of supporters and cat lovers who offer him lots of advice and support for raising cats.
Robert’s wife, Courtney, decided to open a TikTok account to share updates on the kittens. While, for his part, Robert posted them on Instagram.
An adorable video showed her rescue dog named Codi Pig, resting peacefully next to the kittens.
In each update the couple has on the kittens, they can be seen enjoying playtime, little photoshoots and bubble baths in a mini pool.
Robert wrote on Instagram:
The kittens are doing great and enjoying the warm breeze as they dry off. We have more planned for these babies, so stay tuned. I’m still learning a lot, so don’t listen to me!
While it’s true that we don’t know how the kittens ended up alone on the side of the road, one thing is certain, they found the perfect person to help them at the right time for them. Now, thanks to Robert and his family, the future of the kittens will be much better.
