One morning, Nancy, a volunteer at MCRR, a shelter in New York, came across a dirty cat on the street. The cat walked toward Nancy and started meowing for help.
Nancy always had a cat box with her, so she immediately placed it in front of the cat. Then the cat, who was very hungry, began to eat with all her might.
Nancy only worked in the morning that day, so she returned to where the cat was as soon as she finished work. Then, I found a cat lying on the road in the same spot as this morning.
Nancy was so worried about her cat that she decided to save him and take him to a vet. “The cat was so weak that he didn’t resist at all when we put him in the cage,” Nancy said.
When the cat arrived at the hospital, he was hospitalized for two nights for treatment. Nancy, who named the cat Attila, stayed at the hospital for a while to keep an eye on Attila.
Attila was so hungry that he surprised the vet by eating so much food.
After spending the night at the veterinary hospital, Attila regained his strength. As a result, I was able to shave all the matted hair the next day. Attila was visibly feeling better now that his entire body was refreshed.
Two days after his rescue, Attila was doing even better.
Afterwards, Attila was released to his foster parents and found the warm love he was always looking for.
“Attila will be raised by Chris, a foster volunteer. Attila is friendly with everyone and quickly gets to know the other cats.”
When Attila was released from the hospital, he was still very skinny and had no strength.
“Attila has very long legs and a long torso, so once he recovers, he will become a big cat. But now he is very skinny and has very little strength in his body.”
Attila still needs medical attention, but his curiosity is slowly returning and he has started to explore the house. However, he cannot move his legs properly and still walks in circles unsteadily. Still, Attila loves his new life and wants to know everything about him.
When Attila first arrived at Chris’s house, he got used to his new surroundings within an hour and fell asleep in Chris’s arms. Apparently, Attila, who had been wandering the streets, has found peace in the safety of his home.
“We were also touched by the way the native cats welcomed Attila into Chris’s home. The cats immediately welcomed the newcomer warmly and began to cuddle him with lots of love. They seemed to know that Attila was very sick and needed help.
Attila, on the other hand, is always kind to the native cats. It has only been two days since Attila arrived home, but he and the other cats have already exchanged a lot of kindness.
Attila now feels great happiness in his daily life, surrounded by warm love and abundant food. Attila, who is full of happiness, also brings a lot of happiness to Chris and the native cats.
