Several people witnessed a touching gesture towards a dog in an area of Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Kristina Hollie and her colleague were waiting for the bus when they noticed a woman who was shopping with her dog.
The owner of the dog was about to enter the post office but realized that they were not allowed to enter with animals.
The woman began tying the dog to a tree and what she did next touched the hearts of everyone watching.
The dog was shaking because it was too cold and the woman decided to take off her own jacket and put it on the dog so that it did not feel cold, after she went to the post office.
“As soon as the woman got up and passed me, I told her that what she had done was incredibly gentle and thoughtful,” said Hollie.
“She simply replied: Thank you! I don’t want him to be cold! ”
The dog was sitting on the sidewalk with the jacket and people passing by him could not resist taking a photo or commenting on the unusual scene.
Finally, the bus arrived and the two colleagues continued on their way. And as Kristina Hollie and her colleague walked away, looked out the window at this wisely seated animal, awaiting the return of his mistress with the green jacket on his back.
