Despite the many efforts that have been made to combat the abandonment of animals, it continues to be a problem and very present in society, because irresponsible people still commit these cruel acts which put the lives of furry animals in danger. .
You don’t have to look very far to find a case of abandonment, as these happen almost daily in different parts of the world. An example of this is what happened to Blue, a Filipino puppy, who was left in a veterinary clinic and his owner never came back to pick him up.
This American bully was taken to Pet 911 Veterinary and Grooming Clinic, located on Camarin Road, North Caloocan, Manila City, where he would be treated for a skin condition in December 2022. Without however, his owner did not did not come back for him, despite the fact that 4 months have passed.

“She promised to pick up Blue last January, but we found out she was visiting out of the country and she told us she would pick up Blue in February when she returned. But February came and we said she would go to the clinic. So far, she has never come to pick up her pet and left her financial obligations”, denounced the veterinarian on his account on the social network Facebook.
“We do not tolerate this type of behavior. It is a crime to neglect your pets, it is a form of cruelty. They are your responsibility and you must agree to take care of your animal. Please let us know where to find Miss Michay Sasaki as Blue is waiting for her.”
Understanding that this irresponsible woman did not come back to me for the furry one, the clinic took a radical decision that would benefit the dog. They knew he was going through a tough time and they wouldn’t be looking for him, so the vet herself contacted the authorities and they ultimately chose to adopt him.
“Blue is now safe at home thanks to the care of the PET911 veterinary clinic! After our first post on Blue went viral, we were able to connect with Miss Michay Sasaki, thanks to the help of concerned citizens on Facebook. In the name of justice, we have settled things legally,” the clinic wrote.

“It has been legally agreed and signed by both parties before the Presidents that Miss Michay Sasaki shall pay her balance to PET911 worth 65,000 Philippine pesos ($1,192) and sign an agreement that she will take good care of Blue. We gave her a chance to redeem herself in the name of justice and be a better mom to Blue, but it seems she doesn’t care about poor fur at all.”
Finally, the woman did not appear for the dog or for the debt, for which she must be held responsible in court. Meanwhile, Blue will get the life she so deserves.
