A tiny kitten was taken to a veterinary hospital because he needed someone to love. A man who worked there brought him home, and soon after, the little thumbed kitten found love in a fluffy “giant dog”.
In May, the little kitten named Skywalker was delivered to the veterinary hospital. He was about three weeks old and weighed less than a pound. Kim Downie’s husband, who works at the hospital, brought the little boy home. Immediately, her Golden Retriever, named Mojito, welcomed the kitten and started loving it.
Kim told Love Meow:
“She went straight to kiss him. Fortunately, he didn’t care. He liked to give her a hug right away.”
Abandoned Kitten Finds Love In Giant-Hearted Dog
Mojito quickly took on the role of a mother, cleaning him up, snuggling up to him and making sure he would never be alone.
Before meeting, Mojito was joined by another cat named Vader. She followed the kitten into the house until Vader relented and let her bathe and love him. Now Mojito is thrilled to have Skywalker as a new friend.
Skywalker loves his canine mother and doesn’t shy away from constant affection.
Kim said:
“I think sometimes he thinks she’s his mom. Mojito is very affectionate. He is a therapeutic dog and loves visits. Skywalker is super dumb.”
Mojito is very protective of her kitten. She still has it in her arms. She bathes him and takes care of him like a mother would.
Skywalker never sleeps alone. As Skywalker got older, their bond grew stronger.
Nap time is equivalent to cuddle time.
Mojito has a lot of love to give. When he sees an animal or human in need, he runs to help him, licks his face and supports him with his paws.
Skywalker adores his canine mom.
Seven months have passed since their meeting. The two friends are totally inseparable.
This photo is from Skywalker’s three-month-old age.
