Actor Jonah Hill decided to adopt a charcoal gray 3-year-old pit bull from Love Leo Rescue after learning of his sad story. Apparently, the dog named Fig, had been abandoned by his former family in a rural shelter in the area, during the Christmas season.

Staff at the Victor Valley Refuge in Southern California said his owners left him at the facility, with no intention of returning for him.

Since arriving at the place, Fig was very confused, scared and heartbroken; he clung to volunteers in order to gain affection.

Everyone at the shelter was very sad to see Fig’s attitude, especially since it was Christmas season, so they decided to find him a foster family. In this way, Fig arrived at Love Leo Rescue in Los Angeles, as they decided to welcome the dog in with the goal of finding him a permanent home.

Very quickly, the good news arrived. After learning about Fig’s story, Jonah decided to give him the house he so deserved.
