Like humans, animals can form inexpensive ties to each other. No one knows the strength of a link like a dog. These are extremely faithful creatures that would do everything for their loved ones. These two puppies are not different.
Merrill and Taco are the best friends. Merrill is a three-year-old pit bull and Taco is an eight-year-old chihuahua. They met at the Rocket Dog Rescue Shelter, where they lived together for years.
An adopted dog refused to leave the shelter without his best friend
According to his website, “Rocket Dog Rescue” is an organization based on volunteering, dedicated to the safeguarding of homeless dogs and abandoned from overcrowded animal shelters. Its ultimate goal is to create a world where all pets have permanent houses have permanent and loving houses.
Merrill and Taco did not take long to form a strong bond between them. During his stay at the refuge, Merrill needed surgery. The operation was a matter of life or death, and Taco turned out to be a real friend.

This faithful dog did not move away from the side of Merrill throughout the process. Both were completely inseparable. When they were separated from each other for any reason, they both cried out loud until they could meet.
Now it was Merrill’s turn to demonstrate his loyalty to Taco. When a potential adopter entered to adopt an animal, he fell in love with Merrill. But Merrill refused to leave the side of Taco.
Taco also shouted aloud for his best friend. It was immediately obvious that if one of these dogs was going to leave the refuge, they would only go if they were together.
Fortunately for Taco and Merrill, his new human has a weakness for dogs and a heart that is too large to consider separating them from each other.
Then the hero went forward and adopted the two dogs of the refuge.
Thanks to their new human, these two best friends will never have to spend another distinct moment.
Even outside the refuge, they are attached to each other as well as glue. The only difference in their relationship today is that, in addition to curling each other, they can also curl up in their new large human family.
