Chief is a puppy that has captivated everyone with his appearance and sweet personality. His mother Sara Hamilton shared some photos of himself on a popular Facebook group called the Dogspotting Society, and the praise was swift. He is currently being trained to become a therapy dog and will undoubtedly be one of the best.
Although the puppy now looks like a small growing ball of fluff, his parents decided to call him ‘Chief’, because they are confident that he will become a large and strong dog.
On the Internet, Chief has become known with the nickname “The Oreo Cloud” because his fur is soft and has a color that many describe as unique. In addition, his eyes are blue, and his black tongue, characteristics that make him stand out even more.
Adorable puppy is trained to be a therapy dog
Sara said to Bored Panda:
The Oreo Cloud is our favorite nickname for him as it looks like a fluff from Oreo Mcflurry.
Sara claims that Chief is extremely intelligent and already has a great personality for a small puppy; she loves bath time, snuggling, and helping with housework.
He is very protective and loves to sleep by the front door every night.
Sara said:
The first thing we notice about him besides his cute spots is that he loves to hug and he takes a nap on you. He has the loudest snoring of all in the house.
Although training for therapy dogs is very limited at this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Chief is currently being trained at home.
Sara watches training videos on YouTube and he has proven to be an excellent student.
When the pandemic emergency ends, Sara plans to enroll Chief in basic dog training and therapy classes so that when she is one year old she can take her exam and obtain her official certificate so that she can take him weekly to children’s hospitals.
Sara has experience as a hospital volunteer helping children and is confident that Chief is going to do an extraordinary job helping them to cope with their darkest moments.
The cub came into the life of Sara and her husband from Omaha, Nebraska which is approximately a 1,700-mile trip to Northern California.
Sara said:
We are a newly married couple and we felt that this was a good time to welcome him into our small family. She also has a chameleon brother.
