There are those who say that cats are already the kings of the houses, but we have never seen one with a throne. Well, in short, a Maine Coon kitten gets an iron throne. But the item is made of cardboard, which is one of the most loved materials by domestic cats. The result was undoubtedly sensational.
The iron throne is the most important position won in the dispute for kings of the TV series Game of Thrones, one of the most popular of recent times. It is based on a series of books: The Chronicles of Ice and Fire. The cat Arthur already has a real stance, but the owner decided to take this to another level.

Elly and Steve are the human owners and parents of Arthur, a 17-year-old Maine Coon cat.
Elly is an editor. She recently posted on her website a majestic cardboard bed, inspired by the hugely popular Game of Thrones TV series, which she made for her cat.
Elly said: “I was looking at this cardboard box, a shoebox for children’s boots that my mother had mailed me in, and I thought I could make a new bed for Arthur”
Elly told ‘Just Something’: “I opened it and it already looked like a chair, so I thought I could make a throne, since we often call it King Arthur. And then I realized that the best throne to make would be the Iron Throne”.
According to Elly, the Iron Throne reflects Arthur’s personality perfectly: “Arthur loves to sit and lie in it! He likes to rub his face there. He’s definitely the head of the house, so that’s great. We also have two big dogs, and they are rather submissive to Arthur”.
We are happy to know that the Lord of the house appreciated Elly’s gift because, as you can see in the photos below, she put a lot of effort into creating it, and it would have been a shame if the result disappointed Arthur.
“Arthur is 17 years old. He was my husband’s cat since childhood and we are very lucky to still have him in our lives, “said Elly.
