As Ruth Hulett opened the door of her house to go out, a strange and unknown visitor decided to enter without any invitation; a cat roamed every space of Ruth’s house looking for mischief or a new adventure. Seeing his interest, the woman tried to find a solution and looked for an activity they would enjoy together, and since then the cat has been at the woman’s house every day to hang out.
To distract her new friend, Ruth decided to use her computer and play funny cat videos, this immediately caught the attention of her new friend, who was so interested that he came back the next day to watch more videos with Ruth.
Ruth told The Dodo:
“He was a giant in the middle of a china shop, knocking over my coffee and a lamp. I thought about trying to distract him with cat videos, and it worked!”

Since then, the cat has been at Ruth’s house every afternoon, and he really seems to enjoy spending time with his new friend and enjoying the videos with her. For her part, Ruth inquires about the tastes of her visitor.
The woman says:
“He’s picky. He doesn’t like rat videos, but he loves mice. Birds are his favorite. If I stop the video, he hits me with his sweet little paws.”

Ruth thinks her new friend and his family have just moved into the neighborhood because the cat seems to be in great shape and doesn’t spend more than 15 minutes on each visit. Your family may have no idea about your antics and new interests.

In a Facebook post, Ruth wrote:
“Her owners think she’s on the prowl, in touch with her inner cougar. Instead, he’s with me, in the warmth of my home, watching Netflix for the Cats.”

Eventually Ruth finds out the cat’s name is Rex and lives with his family, unfortunately the woman has to move out soon, but she hopes to contact Rex’s family to tell them about her adventures and tastes.
Rex will surely miss his daily routine with Ruth, but he’ll likely find a new neighbor to hang out with and they’ll likely share similar tastes.
