About two weeks ago, a woman noticed a moving patch of fur through her balcony window. She was surprised to discover a small kitten that had climbed onto the balcony. The poor creature was hungry and was looking for something to fill its empty belly.
The woman, who already owned cats and volunteered at a local animal shelter, immediately brought a bowl of food for this little furry creature. She opened the window and carefully left it on the sill, trying not to scare the animal.
The kitten devoured almost half of the food in no time. When its belly was full, it curiously looked out the window at the cats living in the house. It was exhausted, covered in dirt, and didn’t seem to have any intention of leaving the balcony.
The woman opened the door carefully, trying not to scare the kitten. When she went out, the little kitten didn’t run away or back away. It looked at her with its big, gentle eyes until she picked it up and carried it inside.

Isabelle, on whose balcony a cat was found, decided to look for the animal’s owner. Unfortunately, despite asking everyone in her neighborhood, she found no clues about the case. The kitten came from far away or was homeless. All we know is that no one was looking for him. That’s why the woman turned to a local animal protection organization for help. Unfortunately, she didn’t have room for another cat. She knew she wouldn’t be able to give him the attention he deserved.
The kitten’s name was Typia. A veterinarian working for the organization estimated that he was about four months old. The cat had a huge appetite after wandering the streets hungry.
“She was alone on the street, wandering like a little child. She came to the right balcony to seek help”, Celine says.

Typia was treated for stomach problems, but with proper nutrition and a little love and attention, she began to gain weight. The excess weight was not the only change in her life.
At first, she was a little shy, especially in the presence of loud noises. With the help of the new family members, she quickly overcame her fear and began to form a real bond with her caregiver. She began to feel like a fish out of water in the presence of people.
“Typia loves to be petted and starts purring as soon as you hug her. She likes it when you scratch her behind the ears, and if she wants more petting, she looks at us with sad eyes” – says the caregiver.
The cat follows her owners or other cats. He wanders around the house, exploring new spaces, always having a companion by his side.
“We often find her sleeping in the sun by the window, next to the cat that dominates our house. At night, he comes to cuddle us on the bed and calls us with his paws whenever he wants attention.”
Typia’s story is proof of the power of love towards defenseless beings. All she had to do was be on the right person’s balcony that day. Isabelle opened the door to a better life for the cat. Even though their paths eventually diverged, she gave him the chance to have a new life and a loving family.
