There are pets that seem to do whatever it takes to be adopted and taken to a new home. Or at least it made him look like a shelter cat who did everything to get attention so that he could be adopted by one of the people who came to the shelter looking for a cat.
Meet Moxy!
A shelter called Lollypop Farm located in New York, USA, became famous for a particular feline named Moxy. The four-year-old cat is doing everything to be adopted by people who arrive on the scene. He meows, walks around and scratches at the door of his cage when he sees people entering. He wants to be adopted!
He was rescued from the street
The cat was rescued from the streets and brought to the shelter, where he became a local attraction for his hidden talents of dancing, singing and attracting attention.
Lollypop Farm told Love Meow:
When he decides he likes you, he really likes you. He likes to sit on your lap and have your cheeks petted, chew catnip, and stick his cute little tongue out.
He is a very calm cat
As the people in charge of the place explain, Moxy is a very calm cat who loves to play with the people who come to the place. One of his favorite hobbies is watching the birds sing through the window, since he can spend a whole day watching them.
The shelter added:
He spends most of his time relaxing on his own and watching the birds. He liked to snuggle up here and there.
He has a very original dance
Moxy doesn’t miss a thing of what’s going on in the shelter, because as soon as people enter, he starts a very curious dance at the window for them to watch. He wants to be noticed and he succeeds because as soon as people come in and see him doing his “dance”, people come and start petting him.
People started arriving to watch the cat
The story of the feline became so famous that people started coming to see its “dance”. The cat has a technique where it moves its body from right to left while raising its paws in the air.
Adoption
Now it’s only a matter of days for Moxy to find a new home, as many people have applied, but only one of them will have the honor of taking the chat once and reviewing all the documents necessary for its adoption.
