Ziggy, a ten-year-old cat, loves cuddles. It’s safe to say that this dog is truly obsessed with affection. The female prefers to spend the whole day on the laps of her owners. Every time they tried to do something, their pet constantly demanded attention. So Ziggy’s owners had to find something that would allow them to function normally at home.
They came across an exceptionally sociable cat
Each cat has a different character. Many cats don’t particularly enjoy spending time petting and cuddling. But there are also those for whom it is the greatest form of activity in the world. The second group certainly includes Ziggy, a ten-year-old tortoiseshell cat.
His guardians, Rebeca and Alex, love and appreciate their pet very much. They both enjoy spending time with her. When they are at home, the cat does not leave them for a moment. However, at some point it turned out that even an extremely friendly disposition could have certain drawbacks.
The cat’s behavior started to be a problem
It turned out that Ziggy’s love of cuddling became problematic at some point in her caregivers’ lives. Both Rebeca and Alex started working remotely, so they carried out their professional duties from home.
The cat thought that since they were here, it was okay to cuddle all day. The animal was very stubborn and, when ignored, would unceremoniously climb onto the laptop, demanding attention. This made the couple’s job much more difficult.
They knew they had to find something that would stop Ziggy from constantly demanding cuddles. They had an idea and decided to check if the cat would think it was a good solution.
The cat’s owners found a solution that satisfied everyone
Ziggy’s guardians decided to make him a bed in the shape of… human legs. They hoped that this would make the cat want to lie on the laps of its beloved owners.
The idea was unusual, but it turned out to be a success. Alex stuffed his pants with soft materials. Thanks to this, the cat gadget not only had its favorite shape, but also smelled exactly as if Ziggy was lying on top of its owner.
It turned out that the dog likes to nap in his new bed, so that Rebeca and Alex can concentrate on their work in peace.
