Fuzzy is a cat who spent two years on the street. During this time, she gave birth to several litters and became seriously ill. Fortunately, local activists helping homeless animals decided to put an end to his suffering. In a few weeks, the little cat, who looked like a walking disaster, regained health and strength and… fell madly in love.

She was dying in the street. She received help at the last minute

Organization of St. Francis Society Animal Rescue is a unit that helps homeless animals. It brings together activists who helped a cat who had been struggling to survive on the streets for more than two years find help. During this period, she gave birth several times. The numerous pregnancies, malnutrition and lack of safe shelter meant that the female, even though she was young, quickly lost her strength. She couldn’t fight anymore. Pro-animal activists were his last resort. The organization’s new protégé was named Fuzzy.

Volunteer Andrea decided to offer him temporary accommodation. The cat was so weak that she needed constant care. The help she was going to receive at the organization’s headquarters may not have been enough.

The cat needed something else to be completely happy

One of Fuzzy’s main problems was mange. The cat had to be gently cleaned every day. Applying medicine to the skin also required a lot of involvement. Fortunately, the female understood that all this was for her good. She trusted Andrea implicitly.

The volunteer’s compassionate care quickly brought visible results. Fuzzy felt better and better every day. She was still weak, but happily ate and explored the house she lived in. The only thing she lacked to be happy was a four-legged companion. Therefore, Andrea decided to introduce him to another cat who was dealing with similar issues to Fuzzy. We are talking about Mystic, this cat also fought for his life on the streets for a long time and was treated for mange. He lived in a temporary house with another volunteer.

Cats fell in love with each other at first sight

Andrea agreed with Mystic’s temporary guardian that she would take over her care. She knew the cat also needed four-legged company. The volunteer didn’t know if they would like the animals, but she had a good feeling. Fortunately, her intuition did not disappoint her.

Fuzzy and Mystic fell in love at first sight. The cat couple turned out to be extremely compatible. They literally did everything together: nap, eat, play. Additionally, Fuzzy started opening up more to the people around Mystic. Before meeting him, she was rather withdrawn and “stingy” with her feelings. With a supportive partner by her side, she lost all her inhibitions. When he wants to cuddle a human, he simply communicates it clearly and demands a daily dose of petting.

Andrea summed up this unique relationship beautifully:

“They heal themselves”

Now both cats have normal body weight and beautiful shiny fur. They are looking for a house where there is room for him and her. Their temporary guardian knows that these animals should never be separated. They are too precious for each other.
