Saul was in terrible health, but fortunately he got a second chance at life and has managed to win the hearts of all his rescuers with the particular expression of his face and adorable personality.
Saul was wounded and just wandering the streets of London in mid-October, it was raining and he clearly needed help. A man saw him and immediately contacted the animal rescue organization RSPCA, they sent an officer to transfer him to Putney Animal Hospital, and from the beginning something that has caught everyone’s attention is the particular expression from your face.
Caroline Allen, Veterinary Director of the London RSPCA said:
“He was in a very sorry state (…) and he had discharge from his eyes and nose, he looked very bad. We believe that he was involved in a traffic accident when we discovered that his jaw, teeth and an eye had been injured.”

The kitten was very sick, he needed to be treated as soon as possible and little by little, thanks to the love of everyone, he began his path to recovery.

No matter what mood he is in, he always has his grumpiest face. No one knows Saul’s story before he was rescued, but this expression may have been due to some past hurts, or just how he was born.

Contrary to what you may think, he has a very sweet and loving personality with all people.
Saul is very loving
Caroline said:
“Despite his constant frown, Saul is really very sweet and friendly. He is recovering really well from his injuries and we hope that he will soon be ready to move to our nursery in Southall to find a new home as we do not come directly from the hospital.”

He has won everyone’s heart, and when he is completely ready, he can be part of a family that falls in love with him and his grumpy face too.

Caroline said:
“We are sure someone will fall in love with this gloomy looking kitten. In fact, we thought it might be a star … “
