Hope is an adorable mischievous little kitty, who always finds a way to get into fun trouble, and recently her mom tried to prank her. He was playing while talking through a microphone and when the adorable kitty heard his owner’s voice coming from a loudspeaker, he desperately tried to find her.
The funny scene was captured on video; the rather confused cat is trying to find its mother inside the speaker. Becky Matheson, Hope’s mother, never imagined that such a simple game would have this reaction in her feline; it was really curious.
Hope has always been a very curious girl and often gets into trouble. She can be found wedged between the blinds or sitting among the plants in her house, always thinking about her next adventure.
A cat hears its owner’s voice coming out of a loudspeaker
As soon as Hope started hearing his mother’s voice, he seemed so confused that he didn’t understand how he got into that box and was determined to save her. The cat unsuccessfully tried to get inside the speaker trying to solve the mystery.
He was determined to get his landlady out of the speakerphone. Hope climbed onto the speaker as her human mother enjoyed the scene, and she couldn’t imagine her beloved partner’s reaction when he heard her voice on that player.
Hope was so distraught and at the same time focused on the speaker that he didn’t even try to check anywhere else. He was absorbed in the loudspeaker and didn’t even realize that his owner was still near him.
Becky told The Dodo:
“I thought it was very funny. I did it for about 15-20 minutes and he was still watching on speakerphone. He was confused, he was trying to reach me, but I was sitting next to him and he thought I was on speakerphone.”
The lovely kitty was too confused to consider any other options, the only thing certain for Hope at the time was that her owner was inside the speaker. Soon after, Hope lost interest in saving her mother and looked for something else to do.
Most likely, perhaps the cat saw its owner and thought she was safe, so it continued its routine calmly.
Becky added:
“He’s just fun, it’s never a dull moment.”
