For several years, the police SWAT team Boston Police Department, USA had the adorable company of a stray kitten who constantly visited the barracks, until they decided to make her their new House. The officers named her Cat SWAT, and since then they have always been on the lookout for her needs.

In no time, the SWAT team fell head over heels in love with their newest feline member. SWAT Cat was always ready to greet them when they returned from duty and liked to snuggle up next to them when they were seated outside the barracks.

Of course, the team strives to keep their kitten healthy and safe at all times. Despite the care and love they gave him, one thing they couldn’t do at first was make SWAT Cat an indoor cat.

On one occasion, the barracks kitten disappeared for a few days, prompting the team to post on the department’s Facebook page. The teammates were very worried about the fate of their beloved kitten.

A SWAT officer said:

She had become part of the family. But it’s sad, she’s not there. It’s like going to work and not seeing a well-liked coworker.

Luckily, SWAT Cat returned to the barracks alone after a few days without knowing anything of her whereabouts. The team considered doing something special for their beloved kitty, so they started building a tiny house to suit her outdoor lifestyle.

The result was incredible. Cat SWAT’s new home was amazing, and now her private apartment has demonstrated the cat’s place in the hearts of these police officers.

In another Facebook post, the department wrote:

Officer Jamie Pietroski, a 15-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, stayed up late after work for several nights to painstakingly prepare SWAT Cat’s new home. The condo features a spacious studio interior, a large terrace for outdoor dining and sliding glass doors that offer panoramic views of the city.

Luckily SWAT Cat loved her new home, she was genuinely happy and curiously walked through each space designed especially for her comfort; their new home was very elegant.

The police department also wrote:

Swat Cat moved in right away and seems very happy with her new personalized cat accommodation.

Of course, her teammates would love to see SWAT Cat leave behind her days of free spirit and choose the comfort and safety of life on the team, but they’re happy to have her around and take care of her. as much as possible.

It continues to be a great achievement for the team to know that they now have their very own cat condo and that SWAT Cat truly appreciates it.
