An adorable 11-year-old Siberian cat living in Swindon, UK, was discovered after her mother found out about her double life. Nicole Clark has always allowed Tula to roam the neighborhood freely, as she always knows where she is.
However, last week something changed in her routine, as the cat returned to her house with something strange tied around her neck.
When Nicole got closer, she realized it was a paper necklace, she took it off and was surprised to see what she was saying.
Cat returns home with a message on her neck
The paper was a note dated August 16, which raised a question and also revealed the secret life of Tula.
The note read:
Does this cat have a home? She is always in Toby Carvery.
The message completely revealed the secret, because apparently every time she leaves it, Tula goes to Toby Carvery restaurant in order to get food.
The restaurant staff, located in Abbey Meads, were used to Tula’s visits, but wanted to know if she had a home. So they had the idea of sending a message attached to the cat’s body, and in this way discovering her reality.
The day after the message, Nicole went to the restaurant, because she wanted to know all the details of the double life of her pet.
The staff told him that the cheeky cat was on the prowl every day at lunch and dinner. They also said that Tula spent hours trying to get the attention of staff and customers, in a very particular way to achieve her goal.
Tula meowed non-stop in the hope that people would feel sorry for her and give her some food.
Nicole told Bored Panda:
When I found out that Tula frequented the Carvery, I had a lot of fun but was not too surprised. She will go wherever the search for her meat takes her.
The woman explained in the restaurant that Tula was not a homeless cat, on the contrary, she had all the comforts, but she liked to go out for a walk.
Everyone was delighted to learn that the cat had a home, and they told Nicole that they had once tried to catch her, bribing her with prawns, but she ate the prawns and ran away.
Nicole came face to face with Tula who was sitting at the tables outside the restaurant. She says that she appears to have been visiting the restaurant since they reopened, after completing the preventive isolation.
The restaurant is about two blocks from her house, so it is believed that Tula goes through all the gardens to get there.
Nicole says that this is not the first time that Tula has asked strangers for food. Despite the fact that she has always had a warm place to sleep, good quality food, and a caring family, she is still looking for an extra snack.
Tula has a history of following her nose and she used to frequent a nursing home where she gave him pasta sandwiches.
Nicole shared the funny story on Facebook, where different Internet users commented on the publication surprised with Tula’s attitude.
Nicole wrote on Facebook:
I imagine she has been trying to get the vote of sympathy in hopes of getting some meat! She has a beautiful home and she spends every night with us, but thanks to Toby’s clients and workers for looking after her! “
Nicole also says that Tula is the queen of cats. She is beautiful but distant, unless you have food. She has cat brothers, who thankfully don’t follow her on her adventures, but she brought them home a sausage the other night.
