This adorable cat visits the grave of the dog who adopted her every day, cared for her since she was little and loved her.

Nadir Rodrigues, who lives in São Paulo, is the adoptive father of Naná, a dog and nine adorable cats. Unfortunately, Naná passed away recently, a loss that affected the whole family and from which it was not easy to recover.

Nadir built an animal cemetery in his house, where he buried Nana. His absence was somewhat devastating, but apparently it was more difficult for one of the cats, who visits the dog’s grave daily and stays there for some time.

All this sadness is due to the fact that Nana had taken care of and adopted the kitten as her own. She is the youngest of nine felines and has always felt a special love for the one who welcomed her and cared for her as a mother.

Everything seems to indicate that the kitten has understood that in this place of the cemetery is the body of the dog who adopted him and insists on visiting him daily.

In a Facebook post, Nadir wrote:

Today marks the 8th day of her death, this kitten is the smallest Nana adopted as a daughter, she remains in her grave every day.

According to Amo Mew Pet, Dr. Larissa Rüncos, veterinary psychiatrist, says that animals also feel sadness. Just like people, dogs and cats cry when there is a significant loss of someone important in their life.

The chat message moved many people online, who offered words of support and condolences to Nadir and his pets.

Nader wrote:

Thank you all for your support and your love. For comforting me in this sadness that has depressed me so much that I want to disappear. But God, you and the other 9 cats need my presence.
