Types of Ashera cats

On the other hand, we must highlight the four types of ashera cat that exist:

  • Common Ashera cat: This is the main figure of Ashera cat that has developed. It is distinguished by its cream color and its distinctive brown spots.
  • Ashera hypoallergenic cat: Its appearance is exactly identical to that mentioned above. They differ only in a coat that does not produce allergies.
  • Snowy ashera cat: This variety of ashera cat is known as “white ashera” because it shows the whole body whitish with spots of intense amber.
  • Cat ashera royal: This variant is the least known and also the rarest and most “exclusive”. It may be cream colored with black or orange spots or streaks. Of course, its appearance is much more intense and special.

Character and behavior

Many people discovering the sheer size that the ashera cat can reach usually ask the same question: is ashera a dangerous cat? Well, the truth is that despite its eccentric appearance, ashera is a calm and affectionate cat.

The “creators” of the Ashera cat say that cats have a gentle and sociable character and are completely harmless, even if there are small children in the house. The Ashera cats get along well with other pets and do not even try to dominate, although they will almost walk on their hind legs for the caress and love of the owner. But cats treat strangers with caution and will not allow them to get close to themselves. Of course, you will not find reviews from ordinary people about this breed, and who can afford such a luxury is unlikely to spread right and left about their pet.

Most of all, the Ashera cats (like the savannah) likes to run and jump – moreover, he can fly several meters in a jump. So, the cat should live only in a country house, where she will have enough space for active outdoor games and hunting. And if you equip her with a small pond where the cat will frolic and catch “prey”, then there will be no limit to the happiness of the usher.

He likes to be caressed and creates solid links with his loved ones but at the same time he is a cat who can be left alone without problem, he is not particularly attached. Providing regular interactions at his kitten stage will be essential for him to be comfortable and used to us as an adult.

Health

If you buy an Ashera cat, then you will not have problems with the cat’s medical care. If you believe the site of the kennel that sells these elite animals, when you purchase an Ashera cat, you are provided with a special package of services that includes: an identification microchip, a veterinary certificate, insurance, a kit for grooming, transportation with climate control, and most importantly – 10 years (!) Of consultations at the most famous veterinarians in the world.

Once again, we personally have never been fortunate enough to see either the usher or the owner of these amazing cats. But, it seems, these cats have the same excellent health and strong immunity, as the closest relatives – the savannah.

We do not really know what are the usual diseases that affect this beautiful specimen. Its short existence does not give us more information about the diseases and conditions from which you might suffer.

Life expectancy

With the proper care for this unique cat, The Ashera can live 15 to 20 years.

Care

It is assumed that if they have already disposed of such fabulous money for a cat, then the animal will be kept in royal conditions. Most likely, in rich houses, the cat Ashera lies on the sofas upholstered with velvet, and the servants present her with exquisite delicacies ordered from the best restaurants.

In general, the Ashera cat, like the Savannahs, does not particularly need careful care. Their short straight hair does not require daily combing, only during molting this procedure should be carried out more often.

Eyes and ears are wiped with a damp swab, and once every six months the cat should be bathed with a special shampoo for short-haired breeds. Do not forget about the Ashera cat’s teeth – in order for them to remain as strong and snow-white, they must be cleaned with a brush and a special paste.

As for the nutrition of the Ashera cat, here the choice is small. Either you feed it with top quality foods, or with natural products: lean meats such as beef or rabbit. Foods rich in taurine are good: chicken, tuna and turkey. For a side dish, choose boiled vegetables, but dairy products, cereals and fish are better to exclude from the diet, otherwise the pampered usher may have digestive problems.

The Lifestyle Pets Lab itself is the only place an Ashera cat can be adopted because they are sterile felines: they cannot breed. They themselves are responsible for the implantation of a chip and guarantee the vaccination of this big cat for one year. These labs collect figures between $17,000 and $96,000 for each specimen, depending on the type of ashera cat.

History of the breed

The cat with the sonorous name of Ashera has become not only the most expensive breed in the world, but also the biggest scandal among felinologists. The fact is that as such a breed … it simply does not exist, and all ushers are the closest relatives of another “elite” breed – the savannah.

The story of the most expensive and scandalous cat in the world begins in 2007. The biotechnology company Lifestyle Pets, founded by Simon Brody, announced a sensation: geneticists managed to breed a completely new breed of cats. It looks like a wild exotic beast Serval, but inside it is a gentle and affectionate pet that cannot imagine its life without the caress of its owner.

The new breed was called Ashera – in honor of the ancient Semitic goddess, considered the mother of all living things, and the original price tag on it immediately soared to 27 thousand dollars. Despite the fabulous cost, Ashera kittens immediately lined up among the aristocrats and rich. Everyone dreamed of having a manual leopard in his house and was ready to pay any amount.

It was only soon after that a loud revelatory statement by Chris Shirke appeared in the newspapers, which stated that the Ashera was not a new breed, but only a savannah cat. It was these cats that Simon Brody had previously bought from him, and now it is selling as a new exclusive look.

The DNA test, by the way, confirmed the truthfulness of Shirk’s words, so officially the Ashera is not a separate breed. However, even this does not stop the rich people from buying exotic exotic beauties of luxurious colors for the price of a decent car.
