Cora is a very brave and persevering dog whose two front legs had to be amputated, but thanks to the love of her adoptive father she has made an incredible recovery and is now very happy.

Cora is a loving poodle who was abandoned a few years ago in terrible condition, with her front legs broken, her back broken, and her pelvis shattered, but she has made an incredible recovery thanks to the care she has received in her new home.

Zach Skow from Tehachapi, California, was the one who decided to give a new opportunity in 2018 to the dog who is currently 6 years old.

The 40-year-old runs Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue and believes Cora’s serious injuries were most likely caused by a car that hit her.

Unfortunately, the dog lost her legs, because one of them had a bone infection and the other was completely destroyed.

The amputation of her legs was very painful for her, but she has shown a lot of strength.

According to FOX News, Skow said:

The vet wanted us to euthanize her but I’ve taken in many two-legged dogs over the years and I knew she could get better,” Skow continued. “Now Cora is the rock star of them all.

Cora’s mobility improved a lot thanks to the help of a cart and in three months she was able to walk and even kangaroo jump on her two hind legs.

Her entire recovery has been the fruit of love and perseverance. Although she lost both of her legs, she has shown a willingness to continue fighting for life.

She has never met a person or a pet who doesn’t want to be her best friend. I think her mission in life is to show gratitude wherever she goes.
