On the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, there are many places where you can walk to delight your eyes with beautiful landscapes. Thiago, a Dalmatian dog, and Rey Caquias, his owner, enjoy such moments together, however, on one of their many walks, something caught the dog’s attention.
Near the path, something moved, and although Rey insisted on calling Thiago, he ignored him. Caquias says in an interview with the digital media The Dodo: “He made a detour to the forest. I started to call him but he ignored me, that’s when I heard a small bark. Then I looked closely and saw a very scared little puppy. »
Thiago couldn’t have found him at a better time, as the conditions he was in weren’t very promising for him. He was starving and severely dehydrated, so it wouldn’t be long before his life was sadly in jeopardy.
When Caquias tried to pick him up, the little one acted negatively because of his fear. Luckily Thiago was there to calm him down, then they put him in a box and took him home.
Caquias says of his dog: “Thiago is a very friendly dog.” As soon as he can, he makes him feel welcome, he approaches him and pets him, the little one reflects a great calm on his face, after his Dalmatian friend had reassured him with his gestures of affection.”
Since the puppy has been with Caquias and Thiago, he has not lacked food, care and lots of love, both from his owner and from Thiago. They are inseparable, they share games and now walks that only two took before.
Caquias says: “I like him very much” and, what about Thiago? The answer is obvious, his face leaves no doubt “They get along very well!”, says Caquias. Although at one time the surest thing for this little one was death, now that’s a very remote possibility, thanks to this pair.
After this experience, Thiago became a hero for his new friend, and for Caquias, one more reason to give him all his love. This is how he let it be known: “I am grateful to him”, Thiago is a very friendly dog. I never would have seen the little one if he hadn’t found him. My reaction was joy and a lot of pride.”
