An adorable kitten is determined to walk and lead a happy life after being found alone on the street.
Southon Rescue and Central Florida Fosters founder, Dannelle Southon, took in a 5-week-old kitten who needed specialized care. The feline has Manx syndrome and certain birth defects. Part of her spine and tail are fused together, giving the little one limited mobility in her hindquarters.
Despite this condition, the kitten is determined to walk and does not allow any of this to stop him from achieving his goal. From the start, she focused on her recovery and her ability to play like any normal cat.
Danielle told Love Meow:
She came from the local animal services after being brought in as a stray with some pretty obvious issues. The spine, tail and leg bones were formed this way while she was still in the womb.

The little girl was named Minerva, but they call her Minnie. The kitten receives physiotherapy to improve her mobility and they also help her when she needs to go to the bathroom. Minnie is a real fighter despite everything she has to endure.
Although still very young for her age, Minnie has the heart of a brave warrior and is always happy and ready to cuddle.
She sat on my lap purring, playing and enjoying life to the fullest.
The kitten is determined to stay close to its loved ones at all times, even if they are in the bathroom.
Dannelle has set up a nest in the shower to keep Minnie safe and comfortable while she supervises things in the morning, but Minnie prefers to be closer to her adoptive mother.
After visits to the vet and all the love from her adoptive family, Minnie is feeling much better, her stomach issues have healed, and within days of her rescue she is more playful and boisterous than ever. a happy girl.
The kitten takes advantage of its new energy and explores every corner of its home. His physical limitations do not prevent him from being happy.
Minnie has made great progress in a short time and her personality is blossoming. Easily aroused and crazy about her toys, she often meows to get the attention of her humans. She is not afraid to express her opinions.
Minnie loves her life as a spoiled indoor kitty and is always on the lookout for adventure. He enjoys catching imaginary insects, jumping like a rabbit and climbing despite his limitation.
She’s a happy, mobile, active kitty who has no idea she’s ‘different’. She purrs and meows whenever I come near her. Her new favorite toy is these cat springs. She is obsessed.
We’re working on his consistency and his medication schedule, and we’re also looking at the feel and use he has in his hind legs. My goal as an adoptive mother is to bring her to her healthiest state and then give Minnie the best chance for the best life.
