Lindsay Dyer enjoys cuddling with her dog, a charming dachshund named Franklin. But the adorable rescued canine may not understand limits at all and becomes a clingy boy, especially when his mother has to sit in her chair to work every day.
There is no better place for Lindsay to do her daily chores than hers in her favorite gray wing chair, but as soon as Franklin sees her sitting down, she understands all of her as an invitation to her lap. This situation was not practical for Lindsay, until she found the perfect solution.
Lindsay told The Dodo:
“He’s a super laid-back guy. As long as he can be with his people or his cat brother, Bagheera.”
Dog won’t stop smiling after getting a chair

Lindsay added:
“When the pandemic started, I spent a lot of time on the remote control and spent a lot of time in my chair trying to write with a dog on my lap. I saw that IKEA had a matching children’s chair. I was hoping that getting her his own chair would make her stop stealing mine and go get it the first day IKEA reopened.”

As soon as Lindsay brought the matching little chair and installed it in her office, she placed Franklin’s favorite stuffed toy and he immediately realized it was a special gift for him. He was really happy and couldn’t hide it.

Lindsay added:
“It goes without saying that he is very happy. It’s his favorite place in my office.”

Of course, his feline brother also likes the little chair and it has become his special place. Luckily, the adorable Franklin has no qualms about making some room for Bagheera next to him in the new chair.

His mother says:
“They are best friends and sometimes enemies. They share the chair, much to Bag’s annoyance. But they constantly curl up in the chair or whatever bed they find and don’t like to sleep without each other.”

Everything seems to indicate that no matter in which chair Franklin wants to rest, he will always have to make a space and share with his feline brother. Of course, when the curious little dog decides to steal his mother’s chair for short periods of time, Bagheera knows that she gets a chair all to himself, and he loves it.
