Daisy is about 5 years old, but despite her age, she still acts like a dog. There is no doubt that the main characteristics of the sweet Daisy are to be a very funny, playful, outgoing, mischievous and very affectionate dog. But in reality, what he likes to do the most in the world is to attract the attention of the people he loves the most, by performing different acts.
Sierra Niswonger, mother of Daisy, told The Dodo:
“She’s very clingy and likes to touch us at all times. When she wants attention and cuddles, she’s very persistent until we humans give in to her.”

When left home alone, she tends to get a bit bored, and because of this, she has started destroying the blinds in her parents’ bedroom. This behavior had become like a protest or a way to let them know how unhappy she was every time they left her alone.
Sierra said:
“She only destroys the blinds, and only when she’s mad at us. She first destroyed the blinds when we left her at a friend’s house for a weekend shortly after getting her. We replaced the friend’s blinds, of course, but since then we’ve done our best to remember to roll up the blinds when we leave.”
So, to prevent Daisy from further destroying the blinds, her parents bought an anti-static mat to put at the entrance to their bedroom. All this so that he could not enter the room; the mat is a training technique and is not harmful to Daisy.
Although this technique is not dangerous, the dog did not like this object at all and tried not to approach the room.
Daisy had to let her parents know how upset she was about the carpet, and since she couldn’t destroy the blinds, she decided to destroy the rest of the house.
Sierra said:
“We got the mat about a month ago and she threw a tantrum that night without hesitation. I wish I had a camera in the house, I would have liked to see her reaction and the moment when it decided it was time to terrorize the house.”
When Daisy heard her father Steven Daniels come in, she snuggled up in bed, determined to pretend she had no idea how the disaster had happened. The damage he had caused was very obvious, and when his father entered he was shocked and literally gasped.
Steve said:
“I opened the door, stopped immediately, slowly backed up and closed the door. Honestly, I thought maybe I had walked into the wrong apartment.”
Daisy watched her father from afar, but as she tried to stay calm, she felt overwhelmed with guilt and her reaction definitely gave her away. Also the fact that she was the only living thing in the apartment, which was the main clue.
Although her parents weren’t very happy with the mess, they couldn’t be mad at Daisy’s cute and cuddly face for long.
After all, she was angry that her parents left, leaving her alone without being able to share hugs with them, and it was kind of adorable.
