It is therefore nothing extraordinary that guardians do everything possible to ensure that their four-legged companion stays by their side as long as possible. It’s hard to imagine how Chico’s owner felt when his beloved pet’s heart suddenly stopped.

The story we want to present can make even the toughest people cry. The video is from the popular Animal Planet show DR JEFF: ROCKY MOUNTAIN VET, in which a homeless woman named Willamae takes her dying dog to the vet.
An elderly dog named Chico hung limply in his owner’s arms, until at one point the worst thing happened: his heart beat for the last time. The medical registrar did not miss the animal’s worrying behavior and, in the blink of an eye, she rushed to Chico’s distraught owner. Ignoring the other patients in the office, she ran straight to Dr. Jeff Young.
The clinic owner confirmed that the animal’s heart had stopped, but he had no intention of accepting defeat. The whole team, including the vet, is doing everything humanly possible to bring Chico back to life and make his heart beat faster. First, the liquid accumulated in the lungs was aspirated, then resuscitation began.
The fight against time was not in vain
While Chico’s caregivers were going crazy in the waiting room, the veterinary hospital workers performed a true miracle: they saved the dog from the clutches of death.
Unfortunately, the joy of saving the old four-legged did not last long. A few days later, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Although he is gone forever, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him. The only consolation is that this time his loved ones had the opportunity to say goodbye to him.
