This adorable dog is left tied to a fire hydrant with a backpack full of all his stuff in a neighborhood and a woman decides to help him.
A dog named Baby Girl was seen sitting on the grass of a residential street in Green Bay, Wisconsin, tied to a fire hydrant on a leash. Anyone would have thought they could have waited for their owner to return, but a woman named Kylie Rose Engelhardt realized it wasn’t like that as she approached.
Next to Baby Girl was a small backpack filled with all her favorite things; food, treats and their toys, and a very sad note. Kylie realized then that Baby Girl had been left on her own, so she took her to the Wisconsin Humane Society for help.
Kylie wrote on her Facebook account:
[I] sat outside with her for an hour to keep her warm, hoping someone would come back, but no one did.

The photo of Baby Girl, alone with her things, in this fire hydrant, caused a lot of ink to flow on social networks. And according to the shelter, the 5-year-old dog is in very good health.
Angela Speed, the shelter’s vice president of communications, told The Dodo:
He is doing well and getting a lot of love from our staff. He loves his rides, toys and does an adorable “sit” for treats. He is a happy and affectionate dog.

After welcoming her and knowing her story; The Wisconsin Humane Society released a statement to his former family on Facebook. Specifically targeting the former owner of Baby Girl.
In the filing, the shelter explained that they understood how difficult it was to leave Baby Girl tied to a fire hydrant at the time.
Angela added:
We know how difficult it is for someone to part with a beloved pet and how traumatic it can be for the owner as well. We really wanted the owner to know that we are not judging them. step and we saw the love in everything they did to prepare Baby Girl to be quickly found and supported.

Wisconsin Humane Society staff wrote on Facebook:
First of all, we’re so sorry you had to part ways with your best friend. It’s obvious how much you loved him and we can see you did your best while battling your own medical complications. and life’s challenges. We see your love in the bag you carefully packed with all her favorite things. We see your love in the way you attached her leash so she wouldn’t get knocked over by a car. We see their love in Baby Girl’s happy, healthy appearance. And we see your love in the note you left, begging someone to help her when you couldn’t anymore.

Now the charming little girl is preparing to be put up for adoption in the coming days. Meanwhile, the adorable little girl gets lots of hugs from the shelter staff and waits for her second chance at happiness.
Finally, the note from the shelter said:
Rest assured that you are safe, you are receiving lots of care from our team and you are on your way to finding your next loving family very soon. You can rest a little easier knowing that your baby has a bright future behind him.
