Missy was one of them. Unfortunately, this dog fell twice from the same balcony and ended up with a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip.

As a result of these accidents and injuries, the dog found herself without mobility in her legs. In addition, she suffered constant abuse from her owners, who eventually decided to get rid of her and abandon her.

This case, according to information from the Mirror website, reached the ears of the RSPCA, an organization dedicated to helping abandoned animals.

From then on, Missy’s life improved considerably. Even her miraculous recovery served as an inspiration to the volunteers at the shelter, who helped her with hydrotherapy.

Susan Botherway, director of Mount Noddy โ€“ run by the RSPCA Sussex West branch โ€“ said:

Once he arrived at our house, he underwent surgery to remove the head and neck of the femur, so that his leg could move more freely in the pelvis (โ€ฆ) Then she started hydrotherapy to help rebuild the muscle

This treatment was so important to her that she was even able to walk again, after arduous months of training and therapy.

โ€œMissy is very nice. She had a rough start in life, so she can be quite nervous initially around new people, but once you get to know her, she’s absolutely lovely.”

Now that the dog has slowly lost her confidence and self-esteem, shelter volunteers think it’s the perfect time for her to find a forever home.

Susan said the only condition is that her new owners know about her motor difficulties and give her time to recover. “We know she will thrive with training, so we would like her new family to take her to class… We think she would be better off as the only dog โ€‹โ€‹in her new home,” he said. she concluded.
