Dory is only 8 and a half months old, and although she is still very young, she loves everyone she meets. One of his favorite pastimes in the world is having fun with other dogs. Dory loves making new friends and playing nonstop.
Ross Brickelmaier, Dory’s father, told The Dodo:
He wants to play with all the people and dogs he meets, he gets confused and sad when the dogs don’t want to play.
The dog doesn’t let the fence stop him from making friends
Recently, Dory’s family had to move out, and as they spent the first weekend in their new home enjoying their backyard, a very curious thing happened.
Suddenly everyone noticed that there was a dog sticking its head through a hole in the fence that separated the two yards.
It was quite obvious that the little bitch wanted to say hello to everyone, and as soon as Dory noticed her presence, she was very happy to make her happy.
Ross commented:
When Dory realized the head was from a dog, she started looking for it every time she went into the garden.
Dory and the neighbor dog, named Tasso, quickly became friends and started playing through the fence; it wasn’t much fun though. So Tasso, in a clever maneuver, managed to get under the fence and invite himself into the backyard of his new neighbors.
The two animals were delighted to know each other completely and immediately started playing in the yard. Since Dory’s parents did not yet know Tasso’s family, they did not let the impromptu date last.
So they escorted Tasso to his own backyard, but this furry couple had already decided to be best friends and would continue to greet each other.
Ross said:
They kept flirting under the fence and passing toys underneath, Dory learned to stick her head under the fence, but found it was too big to fit completely.
Tasso’s parents had no idea what was going on with their dog, or that Dory’s family was recording their visits. Until they saw a video on Tik Tok of the funny scene, which they thought was hilarious.
Since then, thanks to the cute friendship of their beloved pets, the two families have become great friends almost instantly.
Ross added:
We decided we needed to get the dogs together for an official play date, so we took Dory out for a drink in her backyard. We and the dogs had a great time, so we’ll do it again!
Dory and Tasso’s friendship story started with a fence, and thanks to their determination they were able to reunite their families and now they can play all the time.
