From the day he was rescued from a shelter in Central Valley, California, this Pit bull has always known what love is. And since he was adopted, he has never stopped smiling and showing that he is very happy in his new home. The dog named Meaty, was nothing more than a number in a shelter two years ago, but now he is a dog with a big family who loves him.
Lisa Reilly saw Meaty in a photo posted online by Fresno Bully Rescue. The animal reminded him of his own dog, Kitty, who had died three months earlier. She went to visit him at the shelter and found him sunbathing.
She told The Dodo:
“Fresno Bully Rescue did a great job taking care of Meaty from the first time I saw him until I could bring him home.”

Lisa brought him home, where Meaty has five other brothers, also rescued. It was then that Lisa realized that Meaty loved to pose for pictures, because every time she took a picture of him, the dog was smiling.
This dog became famous on Instagram thanks to his beautiful smile, and he already has more than 152,000 followers.
Despite his passion for being photographed, Meaty never forgets where he came from and the family that gave him the chance to show off his inner star.
Lisa added:
“He’s really a mom’s boy, he just wants to be by my side all the time.”
Lisa says you can’t have a bad day when you’re with him, and no one around him might be smiling.
Meaty is no doubt very happy to be part of this beautiful family, and it shows in her adorable photographs.
