But there are times when no matter how much you want, an accident happens at the last minute and everything goes wrong. That’s what happened to a Canadian couple that went viral on the internet.
According to information from the Daily Mail, they are dental hygienist Marie del Rosario, 33, and her companion Jasa Grant, 34, from Manitoba, Canada, who had organized a big party to let everyone know whether their baby would be a boy or a girl.
What they didn’t know was that maybe including their dog in the emotional, moving moment wouldn’t be the best idea.
When Mary and Jasa were ready to announce sex in front of friends and family, Dobbie, the family dog, had to pop a helium-filled balloon that would reveal the colored paper pieces, either pink or blue.
However, everything went wrong. The dog failed to bite the ball and hit it with its head, so it flew into the air.
The couple and guests burst out laughing at the hilarious situation. Luckily for everyone, the ball ended up in a nearby park, allowing the party members to retrieve it and rehearse the reveal again.
Finally, Dobbie completed his mission and popped the balloon, which dropped pink papers, implying that the baby would become his human “little sister”.
