Several dogs have been seized from a Georgia family by animal rescuers after being used for breeding purposes. Among them was a dog, Jordan. His temporary owner, Melissa, took him in and decided to help him recover from the trauma. At first it seemed almost impossible.
He didn’t even know how to behave properly. Stairs, couches, and grass were completely new to him since he spent most of his time in a cage.
He had a lot to learn, but Melissa was willing to help him do it all at his own pace. Although he made incredible progress over time, Melissa felt it was time to find him a forever home.
A girl saw this poor dog’s story and told her parents they should help him. So they went and adopted him.
The couple arrived at Melissa’s house in Atlanta and ended up meeting Jordan. Although she was a little nervous at first, she was happy to meet her new owners and her new dog sister, Bella.
When they took Jordan to his forever home, his mood changed significantly. He was excited, running into every room, smelling everything and just looking at where he would live from now on.
After living with his new owners for about a month, Jordan became completely unrecognizable. Not only was he happier, but he was no longer afraid of people.
He has made incredible progress since his adoption and loves being with his new family.
