The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier is an American dog breed that was bred from working burrowing dogs. Burrow hunters were actively exported to America from England. Representatives of the breed are considered versatile burrowing hunters and are a serious competitor to fox terriers. The breed combines the features of the Manchester Terrier, Bull Terrier, Beagle and Whippet. Some experts note that the extinct White English Terriers also participated in the breeding work.
