Dog lovers will perk up. The Kennel Kennel Club of America revealed the best breeds for 2019, and many of their favorite pets have returned to the top of the podium. For over a quarter of a century, they have been at the top of the number one ranking, but several surprises have appeared among them.
For example, the French Bulldog over the past few years has risen on the list. These cute puppies went their wave of celebrity to fourth place. Getting into the top ten is a monumental move for the German Shorthaired Pointer, who in the last decade has not been very prominent in the popularity list. This is the highest position for him since it was recognized in 1930.
Here are the 10 most popular breeds:
1. Labrador Retriever
These friendly and active puppies have been in first place for the last 28 years in a row. This is a breed that should be with its owners. 2. German shepherd
These reliable companions often work as police officers as well as service dogs because they are loyal to their main guardians.
Some four-legged dogs are more attractive than others, but when it comes to working intelligence (that is, following commands), the German Shepherd stands out among all.

8. Rottweiler
Known as protective guardians, Rottweilers can show a softer side – as loving, loyal and loyal companions of their owners. According to the Kennel Club, they are the best guard dogs, very brave and, with proper training, will do everything possible to protect their owner.
9. German Shorthair Pointer
Known as excellent hunting and field dogs, due to their intelligence and strong sense of smell. This breed is elegant, however, quite strong and powerful. They need daily training – both physical and mental. A very friendly dog.
10. Yorkshire Terrier
