As Katie’s parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, the elderly man had some health complications, he sadly suffers from cancer and had to be admitted to the hospital.
Katie’s mother accompanied her husband to the hospital, but she had to return home due to strict mandatory isolation measures, due to Covid-19. When Katie’s mother returned home alone, it was clear that she was not the only one in distress, as Leia was at the door waiting anxiously.
The surprising thing is that she stood by the front door with her head bowed, waiting patiently for her father to return.
The heartwarming scene shocked Katie’s mother, who immediately decided to take a photo of the heartbroken dog and text it to Katie.
Katie said:
