A family brought a kitten into their home with the goal of caring for him and providing him with a foster home, but incredibly, their dogs and cats took him under their wing. The little gray cat was rescued earlier this year by a kind-hearted person after seeing him in an internet post.
The little kitten was alone, abandoned, with serious health problems and in desperate need of help, so the man decided to seek a rescue group to help him, and the association Un Chat à la Fois, a rescue center located in Quebec, Canada did not hesitate to accept it.

At this location, the volunteers estimated that the kitten, whom they named Felix, was about five weeks old and suffering from various health issues.
Marie Simard, founder of Un Chat à la Fois, told Love Meow:
“He had a belly full of worms, which is why he was so small for his age. ”
After arriving at the rescue center, Félix’s serious health problems made him feel fragile and very sick, which worries everyone.
Meg, a volunteer, stepped in to help, wanting Felix to begin his recovery process from the comfort of a loving home. So she informed the group that she wanted to bring him back to her warm and loving home.
The woman, a faithful animal lover, has a house full of dogs, cats, rats and even several chickens in her yard. Months before reuniting with Felix, one of his dogs, Chucky, died, so Casper, another dog and Chucky’s best friend, was heartbroken.
When Felix finally arrived at his new foster home, he felt like it was his and quickly gained confidence and settled in with his family. Although everyone loved him, the chemistry between Felix and Casper showed from the start, the dog fell in love with his new boyfriend.
Ever since Casper met Felix, their friendship was immediate, they started cuddling, playing together, and sleeping together.
Mary said:
“Felix was fighting Casper’s tail, biting his ears and toes. Casper loved it and allowed her to do whatever she wanted with it. Casper grew attached to Felix. He had lost his morning wrestling and bedtime cuddling partner, but it wasn’t long before Felix took that place. ”
The rest of the big furry family wasn’t far behind either, soon they also took the newcomer under their wing. It felt like a welcome, with the resident cats of Meg’s house showing her the toys and letting her pet them if needed.
Felix was very friendly with everyone he met and in no time became a special part of the family.
Runty, a tabby cat, has become Felix’s “teacher”; taught him to be a polite cat and let him curl up in his arms whenever he wanted.
Mega said:
“Felix is always running around and makes the cutest meows when he gets too excited. He fears nothing. ”
Artillero, an adorable 7-year-old chocolate brown dog, was so happy to share his blanket with his new feline friend.
Felix enjoys chasing Trunks the cat in the kitchen, and even though time passes, it remains one of his favorite activities.
Additionally, he enjoys spending time with Zelda, an 8-year-old cat, who also enjoys snuggling up with the youngest member of the family.
When the time came to find a forever home for Felix, everyone realized that the kitten had already found it.
Mary commented:
“Félix was officially adopted by his foster family. Everyone knew he was part of the family from day one. ”
Felix has become a young and beautiful cat with a lot of love to give, when someone visits him, he receives it with a little smile.
Every night, Felix and his best friend and brother, Casper, hide under the covers as if they were telling each other bedtime stories; they are inseparable.
Now, at nine months old, Felix has grown into an adorable adult cat, but the most special thing is that he still sports a beautiful smile.
