The family celebrates their cat’s 16th birthday with a photo shoot, a beautiful dress and a salmon cake, the pictures are adorable.
Mallory Powell has been sharing with her adorable cat Emma since she was 15. She found her like a wild kitten and since then they haven’t parted, now Mallory is 31 and decided to celebrate her cat’s 16th birthday with a nice party and photo shoot.
The couple of friends have shared many experiences over the years, so for her birthday, her mother wanted to do something special.
Mallory told The Dodo:
“She’s literally been with me through adulthood, marriage, running and three moves across the country.”

For her special day, Mallory dressed Emma in a pretty lilac and pink tutu, tiara and salmon cake, and hired a photographer to capture her pet’s special moment.
Initially, Emma was not very happy with the celebration; She seemed overwhelmed by everything, but as soon as she found out the cake was salmon, she decided to enjoy the party in her honor for a while.
Mallory says:
“Once she saw the salmon patty on the cake, she laughed at the photographer, the outfit, the tiara and the tutu.”
But when she was done eating cake, there was no point in Emma continuing the party and she decided to retire for a nap.
Despite the short time, the photographer captured beautiful images of Emma in her outfit and with her mother; They will be great memories to cherish.
Mallory added:
“She invested in the party for about 10 minutes, so it was a really quick photo shoot. The food definitely keeps her going!”
