A shelter will never replace a real home
Giving a dog to a shelter is a huge trauma for every animal, regardless of its age, gender, pedigree or level of attachment to its previous family. Animals get used to their owners, they love them unconditionally and it doesn’t matter whether the dog is purebred or the word “mongrel” appears in the documentation. The dog feels very stressed due to the change of place of residence and it will take him a long time to find his way into the new reality of the shelter.
The reason for waiving the right to care for a dog or cat must be very serious and above all aim to improve the well-being of the animal in order to accept the owner’s decision. Unfortunately, many times animals are surrendered to shelters for whatever reason. People get rid of the problem without thinking about the consequences of their decision.

Macaroni, a one-year-old dog who has a kind of pug in her. On January 26, the animal’s guardian appeared with her in front of the HIT Living Foundation headquarters. The woman did not seek an alternative solution to the problem because she clearly did not want the animal she had adopted to stay with her family. When her daughter showed the first symptoms of an allergy, she immediately decided to entrust Macaroni to a shelter. No medical help was sought and the possibility of desensitization treatment was not considered.
The owner drove her car to the building and handed the dog over to facility employees. The poor confused animal didn’t know what was happening. He moaned and squealed, hoping that his beloved lady would return. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The recording of a nostalgic and abandoned animal is heartbreaking.

The dog was taken by foundation employees to a temporary home. Thanks to this, his abandonment trauma could have been at least a little less severe. Upon arrival, it turned out that the dog was a wonderful and cheerful dog who lacked only sincere human love.
The foster family tries to compensate the dog for the bad times
The animal has not yet found a permanent home. However, the dog was placed in a foster home where she is treated like a princess. He can sleep on pillows, go crazy at any time of the day or night, and accompany his caregivers while drinking morning coffee. She doesn’t mind dressing up in elegant outfits.
Temporary guardians hope this wonderful dog will soon find a human to love. They do everything to make him forget the harm done to him.
