Animals are living beings that deserve respect for their integrity. Although this seems obvious, it is something to be remembered frequently as there continue to be instances where the rights of furry animals are violated by irresponsible people who do not value them as they deserve. .
It is for this reason that life-threatening situations for animals continue to occur, as there are people who still do not seem to understand the responsibilities that come with owning a pet or that it is a crime when they endanger or mistreat him.
Fortunately for animals and those who defend them, there are also countless people dedicated to rescuing and sheltering animals when they go through a situation of this nature. They become everyday heroes when they offer a helping hand at their worst.
Puppy was rescued after spending a week abandoned in an apartment

It happened with the case of a puppy in the western US town of Merced, California, who was rescued by local firefighters after a fire alarm was reported in the home where he was abandoned. However, they were surprised to arrive and find no apparent emergency.
According to local news outlet ABC30, when firefighters entered to inspect the apartment, they found a dog that had been left inside an indoor kennel. It was the furry one who managed to get out of his cage and burst a pipe, which ended up setting off the fire alarm.
“The pup was in a wire kennel, he managed to get out of there, he was looking for food and water, trying to survive. He slammed his way into a pipe and burst a pipe,” Merced Fire Chief Derek Parker said.
According to reports, the animal spent a week living alone in the house, for which it presented a picture of malnutrition. Animal rights group New Beginnings for Merced County Animals got involved in the case to help.

“Doing this to an animal is not the solution. There are many other solutions. In the city of Merced, they could have contacted the police department and had one of the animal control officers come in, but you don’t just walk away and leave a dog like this,” Sharon Lohman said. , founder of the organization.
“This particular pup hurts me, but I don’t understand why people do that, it doesn’t make sense,” added the rescuer, who hopes to find him a home soon. On the other hand, the former owner is the subject of an investigation for animal abuse.
