Ruger is a beautiful dog who for more than 10 years has accompanied the adventures of Corie Bliss and her family. He built memories and had many adventures with his beloved humans. They decided to tap into those memories, so when Corie’s son Dylan graduated from school, they decided to ask the recent graduate and his dog to recreate a photo from their first day.
The dog came into the New Hampshire family when Dylan was a child and they have bonded ever since. Ruger has always been by his side, they’re a great team.
Corie told The Dodo:
“We try to take him everywhere with us. He’s super loyal and loves his family.”
New grad and his dog recreate first day of school photo
Dylan had a great time with his pet, and the family wanted to portray all that adventurous time, so why not join the trend of recreating images from the past, and what better than next to Ruger.
Corie says:
“I was looking through some old photos and came across the picture from Dylan’s first day of freshman year with Ruger, when Ruger was a puppy. He wanted to recreate the image on his graduation night.”
The souvenir photo is a success, really the link between Ruger and Dylan is still intact and the image was perfect.
Although Ruger is a bit older today and has complex medical issues, he continues to bring joy to his family.
Dylan added:
“Having Ruger with me at school was great. No matter what grade I was in, I always have memories of coming home and being greeted at the door by Ruger.”
No matter how much time passes, the joy and memories that Ruger continues to bring to his family will stay with them forever.
