Bella is a 7 year old female German Shepherd who doesn’t like other dogs. Therefore, his guardian was very stressed about the dog’s reaction to the new family member, who was supposed to be a Chihuahua dog. The woman analyzed many scenarios in her head, but she was unable to predict how things would turn out in reality. Her beloved dog surprised her a lot.

The owner of a German Shepherd decided to expand her family. She took into account the consequences of this decision

Bella is a 7 year old female German Shepherd. As befits a representative of this breed, the female has a fiery temperament. She is not ready to make concessions, values the routine she has developed over the years and does not like the company of other dogs. Despite these characteristics, Whitney Gayle Boswell decided to adopt another pet.

The decision to adopt another animal was very stressful for her. She knew it would be a difficult life change for Bella. However, the sheepdog’s owner hoped that her pet would accept the new family member. Even before adding another pet to her family, the woman imagined various scenarios in her head, but she failed to predict what actually happened. After bringing home a 4-year-old dog, things took an unexpected turn.

The family has grown by another dog. Bella made it clear how she felt about this.

The cause of much confusion in Bella’s life was a 4-year-old chihuahua named Tinkerbell. The owner of two extremely different dogs took great care to ensure that their socialization was gradual and as comfortable as possible for each party. She expected it to last a long time, after all, Bella wasn’t used to sharing space with other animals. During this time, the sheepdog behaved completely differently than before.

Bella immediately liked Tinker Bell. Additionally, the dog decided to make sure that her new little companion felt as comfortable as possible. Everything indicated that he had no intention of fighting or dominating her. Things got surprisingly intense.

Dogs had a unique bond. Physical differences don’t matter to them

In just a few days, Bella and Tinker Bell became best friends. Physically speaking, they’re opposites, but it turns out that’s no barrier to their unique bond.

In an interview for “The Dodo”, the owner of two female dogs spoke about how the much larger dog treats the new member of the family:

“She takes great care of Tinker Bell (…). He watches over her all the time while she eats, drinks and even attends to her physiological needs – she emphasizes and adds. – They never fought or behaved aggressively towards each other. Tinkerbell usually jumps on Bella’s back, which doesn’t bother her at all.”

Now the dogs happily spend every free moment together and it is clear that they can no longer imagine life apart. They eat, play, rest, and sleep together, and their owner jokes that they even share gray matter.

“Bella is extremely gentle and careful around Tinker Bell, and although she thinks she is a small dog, she knows that Tinker Bell is much smaller than her. “She’s an amazing big sister,” Boswell says.
