Aleecia Dahl’s grandfather took his dog to a furniture store to make sure he liked the new chair too.
After hearing this story, you might not believe that Aleecia Dahl’s grandfather didn’t want a dog at all, but he became a proud dog parent, who takes his pet everywhere and will do anything for his beloved four-legged friend. And all because of Coco.
Aleecia told The Dodo:
Coco is the dog Grandpa never wanted but can’t live without. They’re the best friends you never knew you needed.
Grandfather takes his dog to the store to buy a new chair
Coco and Grandpa are inseparable. When they’re not strolling around town, they can be found lying together in their favorite old chair.
Recently however, the chair had to be replaced and the two began this search.
Alecia said:
When grandma and grandpa moved, [they had to buy] new furniture. It was Grandpa’s requirement that the footrest of his chair be wide enough for him and Coco to sit side by side.
So Grandpa took Coco to the furniture store to make sure that whatever he bought Coco liked too.
Alecia said:
She took Coco to various stores to try out chairs until she found the perfect chair. Coco was always greeted with a smile as I’m sure it’s not every day that a man and her dog is going furniture shopping.
Coco no doubt appreciated the opportunity to influence this big decision.
Finally, the couple found the ideal and comfortable chair.
