Believe it or not, there was a time when Aleecia Dahl’s grandfather didn’t want a dog at all, soon after he changed his mind, and now the two are almost all together.
It all started when he met Coco.
“Coco is the dog Grandpa never wanted but can’t live without him,” said Dahl. “They are the best friends I ever thought I would need.”
It is safe to say that Coco and Grandpa are simply inseparable. When not out of town on an adventure, the sweet couple can often be found relaxing together in their favorite chair.
Recently, however, this chair was removed, which forced them to look for a new one as soon as possible.
“When grandmother and grandfather moved, [they had to buy] new furniture,” said Dahl. “It was Grandpa’s requirement that the footstool in his new chair be wide enough for him and Coco to sit side by side.”
So, adorably, Grandpa took Coco to the furniture store to make sure that what he had to buy also suited her.
“He brought Coco to several stores to try on chairs until he found the perfect chair,” said Dahl. “Coco has always been greeted with a smile, because I am sure that every day a man and his dog will not buy furniture.”
Coco undoubtedly appreciated the opportunity to influence this great decision.
Fortunately, they finally found an ideal fit for both of them: a comfortable chair that fits two sweet friends. Dahl’s grandfather would have no other way.
“She’s his best friend,” said Dahl.
