A dog was found abandoned in front of a church in England with a touching note: “I love you and I am truly sorry.”
The dog – a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix – was found abandoned on the altar of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Blackpool, UK. He had a note, presumably from the person who left him in this temple, justifying his abandonment.

“My life has undergone a dramatic change and I couldn’t imagine it on the street, with me facing hunger and cold,” the note said, according to the Animal Protection Association of the United Kingdom (RSPCA). ), who took charge of the dog found in the church on the morning of December 18.

“My dog is everything to me and I don’t know what to do,” explains the handwritten note. “Please believe me, I don’t do it because I want to do it.”
The author of the note describes the animal as a “placid, friendly and adorable dog”, who will be seven years old on March 22, 2020.
“My heart is broken and I will miss it in a way that words cannot describe.”

“I hope he can find a new home, as he deserves. I love him very much and I’m really sorry,” added the note, which, according to Will Lamping – who found the dog in church – shows how much the animal was loved.
“Unfortunately life sometimes has big turns and circumstances can change dramatically, but it is moving to think that someone is thinking about the dog and wondering how it is,” said Will Lamping.

“If someone shows up to claim the dog, I would like them to know that they are not going to have a problem of any kind and that we would just like to talk and see how we can help,” added Will Lamping, opening the door to a meeting between the owner and the dog.
If no one claims the dog, he will be taken to the RPSCA reception center for adoption.
