This charming cat appeared in a neighborhood in Montreal, Canada, looking for food remains and a safe shelter to spend the night. He was so hungry that he followed a few streets to the doors of a gentle woman by the name of Milena, who barely saw the newcomer, offered her food and water. The feline jumped to eat grateful to fill your stomach.

The homeless cat continued to frequent the woman’s house for the following days and seemed to love Milena. He jumped right at the window window an afternoon, grilling animated to let him enter the house. Milena opened the door to pass and he simply entered.

After enjoying her dinner and putting caresses and curling on the woman’s lap, she fell asleep on the bathroom carpet quietly. The next day, Milena took him to the veterinary clinic looking for a chip.

They found one, but it was never recorded. They managed to draw it in a refuge and discovered that it had been adopted a few months ago and was tested positive for IVF (feline immunodeficiency virus). After trying several times to contact the adopter without success, they decided to save him.

Milena approached Chatons Orphelins Montréal looking for help for the cat, because at that time, the refuge could not accept it.

Celine Crom, by Catons Orphans Montréal, told Love Meow:

“We call him Mathéo Vangagh. He had an infected eye, some stomach problems and was three years old. We take him to the veterinarian to repair everything. He started to eat quality cats and quickly recovered” .

Two volunteers from the Lyle Center, called Anne-Claire, and Daniel, took care of the cat. In a short time, Mathéo became an interior cat because it was always intended for being. He was happy and at ease to be in a house, he followed his humans from the house and nestled on his lap to receive caresses.

Celine added:

“He adjusted quickly and started to sniff and curl up with his humans. He is very fun, adventurous and has the heart of a teddy bear. He likes to take him in his arms like a baby and snoring when they hold it “.

When he was transferred with another host family with Melanie and Kurt, Matheo met three other cats, two of them were also a positive IVF. The kitten immediately estimated that it belonged to this location.

Harold, Pinocchio and Brandie arrived in the care of their reception parents for various reasons and are now very close. Harold, the older brother, took matheo under his protection and showed everything at home.

Celine tells:

“He presented Mathéo in the morning struggle and invited him to see feline entertainment in the windows with the gang.”

The cats got along very well and did everything together, supported and appreciated the placid naps together. Mélanie often found the Harold -hugged matheo; They always slept and played together. After spending several months in their reception house, the couple knew that the matheo belonged to this place.

Celine remembers:

“They called me the day of Melanie’s birthday and told me that they would like the four to stay with them forever. These sweet cats were adopted together in a large house with loving humans. was the first time that we had a quadruple adoption “.
