Leyla and Bear are two intelligent dogs who know what it means to enjoy their free time, and they usually spend it having fun and playing together, but recently these dogs created a new version of the game of searching.
It is clear that they both love to play, but have a particular taste for searching and catching objects, so they decided to modify the classic game.
At the time, no one seemed to understand what they were doing, but after they did it repeatedly, they understood that the rules had changed.
Two smart dogs invent their own game

After living for several years in a small apartment, the family decided to move to a new house with more space. Which meant that their dogs had more opportunities to have fun, and they could play various games inside their home, including searching.
Kristine Lequerique, the mother of dogs, told The Dodo:
“We started by throwing the ball upstairs [from the living room], so they had to run up and down.”
The dogs had to climb stairs to the second floor in order to catch the ball and then go down with it to where their mother was.

It was quite a strenuous exercise, but one day Leyla decided to change the rules and chose to modify the role of her and her brother in the game. The dog decided to stay on the second floor after the ball was thrown, and instead of going down with it she passed it to hers, her brother, her Bear from above.

Bear waited downstairs and received the ball, then carried it to where her mother was sitting and handed it over. Although the game had modifications, it was still fun for all three, but the intelligence of the dogs was really incredible.
Kristine was in awe of what she saw, especially the way Leyla and Bear came up with an innovative solution.
Kristine commented:
“She was so surprised. Then I kept throwing from there.”
From that moment the classic ways of looking for the ball disappeared in their home, and now they are only interested in being able to play in this way.
This novel game has become a routine in Kristine’s family, as the dogs want to play all day and at all times.

Kristine added:
“This happens all day, every day. They can last for hours or until we stop. Then they just keep throwing the ball at you until we start over. They are so smart.”
