This adorable 10-day-old kitten is happy to find help and won’t stop purring happily.

An adorable 10-day-old kitten named Clove has arrived in the care of Baby Kitten Rescue in Los Angeles, California. She was found abandoned with no mother nearby to protect her, and in very poor health. Her rescuers immediately began an intensive care protocol to help her recover.

The little feline was covered in fleas all over her tiny body, she had a scab in her armpits, and she was battling a terrible infection, but her drive and strength were admirable.

Caroline Grace, founder of Baby Kitten Rescue, told Love Meow:

They found her on a Thursday night alone. The researchers waited for the mother cat, but unfortunately, she never returned. Clove was severely dehydrated and constantly crying in pain from her stomach issues.

Clove was a very strong girl and eager to move on, thanks to the care of Caroline and the volunteers of the rescue center, she became stronger, in addition to receiving antibiotics, fluid therapy and supplements to recover and heal his gut.

Caroline says:

Within hours I could tell she was starting to feel better. She was still figuring out her latch but was eating well with every feed.

The adorable kitten quickly regained all her energy and enjoyed being tied to the arm of her favorite human, purring happily, despite her small size her desire to live was evident.

Ana, one of the shelter’s volunteers, took over Clove’s care and drove her home to continue her medical treatment and meal plan.

The volunteer remembers:

Within a week, Clove was hanging on and eating like a champ and blossoming into the silly, brave, loving girl that she is.

Ana works at a veterinary clinic and brought the kitten back to her side to monitor her medical treatment. Thanks to the woman’s dedication and consistency in her medication, Clove made a full recovery and her bubbly personality began to shine.
