A pair of beautifully marked kittens have formed a strong bond of brotherhood and have remained close since being rescued from the streets, and now together they enjoy a forever home.
The Chatons Orphelins Montreal animal shelter, located in the city of Montreal, Canada, learned of the existence of these two united kittens who were in urgent need of help.
At that time, several rescuers had arrived on the scene with the intention of rescuing a homeless cat that had been hit by a car.
Kittens with cute markings are inseparable
They quickly realized that the cat was not alone, but that there were also her two adorable little kittens who had to be rescued. The two little ones were huddled against each other and never left each other; the curious thing is that both have a distinctive mark on their chin.
This weird but cute mark is shaped like a goatee or goat, and it looks like the kittens have a permanent smile on their face.
Rescuers had to do something to help the pair of cats, so they were picked up and taken to safety. The kittens’ mother needed urgent medical attention, so she was taken to a veterinary hospital for surgery.
Fortunately, the operation saved the kitten’s life, however, the little ones were transferred to the animal shelter for treatment.
The rescue center told Love Meow:
“They needed treatment for the worms, but otherwise they were healthy and in good shape.”
Despite her condition, the mother had done a good job with her puppies and kept them in excellent physical condition until they were rescued. The rescue group moved the kittens into a foster home and when they arrived you could tell they were ready to adjust to their new life.
At first they were very shy and even stood close together to feel safe, but soon they felt comfortable and started exploring the place.
Babett and Tapeo move around the house doing a thousand mischief, and if one of them starts playing, the other quickly follows.
The center said:
“They are drawn to feather toys, they are very playful and curious. They are always exploring (together) and looking for things to play with.”
When they’re not running around the house, they’re snuggling, cuddling, grooming and smiling together – they’re definitely two inseparable kindred spirits.
In recent weeks, the cats have grown considerably, and the best part is that their confidence has also increased and they are still close to their people. They demand more and more attention and cuddles, the good thing is that their caregivers are always ready to comply with all their requests for affection.
Regarding his personality, Tapeo is the most restless brother and does not want to miss any action, he is always ready to live any adventure. Constantly insisting on staying close to her sister and hugging him, she won’t take no for an answer, after all, she’s his best friend.
Babett, is characterized by being very sweet and calm, so she is always ready to meet the demands of Tapas; they are the perfect duo.
Her feline mother has recovered well from her health issues and is now enjoying her life being the center of attention in her new home.
After spending two months in the foster home, the feline siblings finally found their dream family and moved into their forever home.
The rescue group added:
“Tonight they sleep happily in their new home. It really is a dream come true!”
Babett and Tapeo continue to go about their daily lives as a close couple, wrestling, playing and cuddling for a nap.
Luckily, the adorable rescued kittens with the distinctive mark on their chin are living the best life and will receive lots of love forever.
