The little kittens arrived in a different way at Jin’s Bottle Babies shelter in Phoenix, Arizona to receive the care they needed to survive. Although they arrived in different litters and were placed in different foster homes, the two kittens had something in common in that they required round-the-clock care.
Pico the tabby cat and his siblings were soon up for adoption, but unfortunately no one wanted to adopt the little one.
Jen, a shelter volunteer, told Love Meow:
“All of his siblings were pre-adopted and we were trying to figure out what to do with his adoption.”
Kittens form an adorable bond

On the other hand, Ressler’s adoptive mother, the white kitten, needed someone to take care of the small litter, since she was not capable of it. Without thinking twice, Jen decided to take care of the kittens and picked them up to bring them home and give them everything they needed.

Jen commented:
“Ressler was pretty laid back for a cat. He loved sleeping in the tower cube or snoring on my shoulder.”

It didn’t take long for Pico to hear the new members of his house and he was eager to meet them all, he wanted to enjoy their company. Jen introduced her to the kittens and while she was thrilled to meet them, she was inclined to be next to one of them.
Jen added:
“He and Ressler hit it off, became good friends, teamed up to give me evil eye for interrupting their naps. I could watch them play and wrestle all day.”

Pico was outgoing and curious, while Ressler was very quiet, but they seemed to complement each other perfectly and made for a great relationship.
From that moment, the two cats became an inseparable duo, they did everything together and no longer allowed themselves to be away from each other for a minute. The tabby kitten could usually be seen cuddling her new best friend, whenever they took a short nap or cuddled up to sleep.

They shared everything and always looked for a way to fit in any corner they could find, even if the space was too tight.
jen said:
“His favorite activities were being in containers and playing with my cat Romeo.”
If one of the two kittens decided to play in a toy tunnel or elsewhere, the other kitten immediately followed its brother.

There was no doubt that they were inseparable, they were a complete set and even huddled together in a sea of cuddles with the resident cat.
Jen commented:
“We thought Pico would like to have a forever friend to go home to, and that seems to have worked out perfectly.”

Ressler and Pico continued to strengthen their bond of brotherhood, filling their room with hugs as a family arrived to show interest in them.
After several weeks of waiting, their dreams finally came true and a kind-hearted family decided to give them a forever home.

Jen added:
“Pico and Ressler are my favorite romance, I’m so excited for their new home. The only people more excited than us are his new family.”

Now the two kittens are enjoying their new home, Pico was called Julien and Ressler is Marty, like the one from the movie Madagascar, and they are really happy.
